Something for Mary…

The week between Christmas and New Year’s is always filled with excitement. For several of our friends, they will celebrate their birthday. Our friend Mary is one of the celebrants. We hope her day is beautiful.
Again, I am using Susan’s Garden’s two poinsettias (1090 & 1226) from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I am not real excited about putting the Christmas themes away just yet and these dies work so well with the pearlescent papers from Neenah’s StarDream Collection, that I could not resist. The flowers are White and Emerald, the card stock is Opal with Gold as the layer.   I accented the flowers with ColorBox’s Gold and added Lemon Chiffon Prills for the centers.
My handwriting is nothing short of a doctor’s signature, so I decided to use my Silhouette Cameo to add our friend’s name.
Well, just looked at my calendar and there are several birthdays and a couple of anniversaries in the next two weeks. One is a 5 year old girl – best get my ideas going.

From my family to yours, “We wish you a Happy New Year!”

Till next time…
As Always,  Barb
